On August 6th, 2011 a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was shot down by a Taliban fighter in the Wardak province, Afghanistan. 31 heroes were killed that night. 17 were Navy Seals from the elite unit DEVGRU/TEAM SIX and 2 of which were my friends.
The combination of digital elements and photographed practical models were used and the ‘glitchy’ effect references the still unresolved mystery of the entire story of what happened that fateful night.
